このアブストラクトでは “binary restenosis” という表現が出てくる。
単にバイナリーと聞くと、個人的にはバイナリーオプションという金融取引を思い出してしまう。
バイナリーオプションとは簡単に言うと、通貨が上がるか、下がるかの2択で予測する投資（投機？）のこと。
まぁ、そんな取引はやらない方が賢明だ。
話を戻して原文と訳文を見てみる。

ぱっと見て引っかかるのは、”restenosis”だけで「再狭窄」という意味なのに、”binary”が付いている。何の意味があるのだろうかということ。
該当の訳文としては「再狭窄」に加えて「（血管径の 50%超の再狭窄，または収縮期最大血流速度比 2.0 以上）」という説明が追加されている。
これは、この論文の「再狭窄」の定義として、フルペーパーには書かれている条件を追記しているもの。
よくある定義だと50%超の方しかない。それを基準にどちらに当てはまるかという2択である。

日本語サイトでは、”binary restenosis”を検索すると、「二分化再狭窄」や「バイナリー再狭窄」と訳されているものもあるが、単に「再狭窄」の方が多い気がする。
